The bag is very spacious and you can fit lots of stuff in it if needed, I carry my ipad and books in it all the time.My only issue is that the long strap that comes with it is a little too long so it sits low on your side but I think ..." It does come with a very long strap that hooks on to both sides but it is too long. It causes the purse to hang down to your thigh (I am short).
